Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Ursula and I am a mindset coach. I coach women on how to cultivate a positive mindset and create a shift in the way they think about themselves and life.
I want to support you in breaking unhealthy and unhelpful negative thought patterns, shrug of not feeling good enough and help you reach your full potential in your career and/or personal life.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative relationship between a coach and their client. Being open and honest with one another is one of the foundations of the coaching relationship. Coaches are not therapists and do not delve into your past, we are future focused. We start from where you are right now and coach you through to where you want to be.
Coaches do not offer advice, act as a consultant, a mentor or try to “fix” you. We believe that no one needs to be “fixed”. Coaches give you valuable feedback which is honest and impartial. We tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. Only by bringing awareness to you can you begin to make a change in your life.
Coaches hold you accountable and you will be accountable to your coach. What does this mean in practice? Well, it is to do with motivation when you are in-between coaching sessions. Maintaining motivation and making changes is not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it!
We are there to keep you motivated and make sure you do what you say you’re going to do throughout the coaching process in order to progress you towards your goals. We help you with any difficulties or resistance that may show up when you are making a change. When you have someone to be accountable to you are more likely to take action!
My coaching involves techniques that have a basis in neuroscience. I also use evidence based approaches and powerful questions to invoke a new way of thinking and evoke transformation in the lives of my clients.
Who uses a mindset coach?
Mindset coaches work in many different fields from individuals to corporate clients. Mindset coaches help you gain awareness and identify potential blind spots which may be holding you back from reaching your full potential.
I work with individuals to rewire their thought process and to break unhealthy and unhelpful negative thought patterns on how you may view yourself or a situation. Mindset coaches can help you set goals and give you the tools to achieve them.
This whole process only works if you are willing to do the internal work alongside the coaching which is why the coaching relationship is a collaborative one.
